販売当時フラットダートで、圧巻の走りを見せていた記憶があります。
フラットダートから３Ｄサーキットが主流になりつつある現代でも
ドラゴンのような走りを、心置きなくしてもらいたくて商品化しました。
ジャンプしてからの片輪着地や、コーナーでのタイヤヒット時に
ギアボックスが開いてしまうのを、最大限軽減するために柔らかいサスアームを採用しているドラゴン系ですが、
それでも、ギアボックスへの異物混入やパーツの破損が発生してしまいます。
この不具合を軽減して、【エイド】補強できるパーツがあれば、、、
そこにドラゴンロマンが生まれますね！

必ず、付属の小径１ｍｍアルミスペーサーを入れてから固定してください。

Front Shaft Arm Aid / For Tamiya Scorcher & Dragon-Series Buggies
A dedicated reinforcement part for Tamiya Dragon-series buggies.
Compatible models include:
* Scorcher
* Thundershot
* Saint Dragon
* Thunder Dragon
* Fire Dragon
This sheet-metal reinforcement part is designed to provide additional “Aid” support to the front A5 suspension arm component used on these chassis.
These exciting 4WD buggies have been reissued one after another over the years.
I still remember how impressive they looked running across flat dirt tracks when they were originally released.
Today, RC circuits have changed.
Flat dirt tracks are no longer the only playground, and more modern 3D-style courses with jumps and elevation changes have become increasingly common.
Even in that kind of environment, I wanted owners to be able to enjoy these machines with the same wild, dragon-like spirit.
That feeling became the reason for developing this product.
Development Concept
The Dragon-series chassis uses relatively flexible suspension arms.
That flexibility helps reduce the chance of the gearbox opening up during hard impacts, such as:
* Landing a jump on only one front wheel
* Hitting a tire or track barrier during cornering
* Sudden side loads on the front suspension
This flexible design is one of the ways the chassis protects itself.
However, even with that design, hard impacts can still lead to problems such as:
* Foreign material entering the gearbox
* Damage to surrounding parts
* Unwanted movement or deformation around the front suspension area
So I started thinking:
“What if there were a simple part that could reduce these problems and give the A5 area a little extra reinforcement?”
That is where this Aid part came from.
And when you add just a little more support to these classic machines…
That is where the Dragon romance begins.

Installation Difficulty

Installation is relatively simple.
Use the existing 3 × 12 mm tapping screws that normally secure the A5 parts.
Before tightening the screws, be sure to install the included:
1.0 mm small-diameter aluminum spacers
The spacers must be installed between the relevant parts before final tightening.
Important Information
* This product is designed specifically for the listed Tamiya Dragon-series buggy chassis.
* Please use the original A5 mounting screws for installation.
* Be sure to install the included 1.0 mm aluminum spacers before tightening.
* This product is intended to reduce stress and deformation around the front suspension area, but it cannot prevent all damage caused by severe crashes or impacts.
