The Tamiya Grasshopper II was released four years after the original Grasshopper.
Since its re-release in 2017, it has remained a familiar sight at RC circuits and events.
Just like the original Grasshopper, it's one of Tamiya's long-selling RC cars.
And yes, I'm sure many RC enthusiasts own both models — perhaps even several of each!
Equipped with a standard 380-size motor, the Grasshopper II runs just like its namesake — a real grasshopper!
But make no mistake, the Grasshopper II has evolved considerably from the original.
**It's an RC car that truly deserves the "II" in its name!**
So, we created a product to help cool the motor of this legendary machine.

Then making a FANBoo for the Grasshopper II is simply the natural order of things!
That's the concept behind this product.
I'm sure many Grasshopper II owners have already installed their own DIY cooling fans.
But how about a **FANBoo G II that you can install without any modifications?**
Simple, convenient, and made specifically for the Grasshopper II!

- The cooling fan shown in the photos is not included.
- Designed for 30 mm cooling fans.
- Thicker cooling fans may interfere with the body shell. Please check clearance before installation.
